Jo-Blaise Martin – Director
2017 saw some exciting changes at Masseys. After managing the company as Lettings Manager since 2001 Jo-Blaise became a Director and with a fantastic hard working team as support, she is looking to drive the company forward with the positive experienced strengths that Masseys are known for.
Jo-Blaise Martin started as a junior negotiator with another Brighton and Hove Letting Agency in 1998. Progressing to Lettings Manager by 2000.
Jo-Blaise joined Masseys in 2001 as Lettings Manager. She has taken several related training courses during this time, culminating in a Diploma in Residential Letting and Property Management, extensively covering the legal aspects of residential lettings.
Jo-Blaise has recently set up her own Company, JBM Property Projects runs alongside Masseys and specialises in co-ordinating refurbishments for landlords. With her experience in managing sensibly priced refurbishments with reliable and trusted contractors, this service complements the needs of overseas landlords, busy UK based property owners or those who simply don’t know where to start.
JBM Property Projects also offers Tenancy Consultancy to Private Landlords who may be struggling with a problematic tenancy.
David Horabin – Lettings Manager
David joined Masseys in 2005, he demonstrated immediate potential and made fast progress within the company. With his ability to think quickly and his excellent communication skills, he became a highly valued member of the team here at Masseys.
In 2014, David achieved the NFOPP level 3 award in Residential Lettings and Property Management.
David was made Assistant Lettings Manager in 2012 and in 2017 was deservedly promoted to Lettings Manager.
Marie Taha – Office Co-ordinator
Marie joined Masseys in 2011 and is actively involved in providing the general support services required by a busy, fast paced office environment.
She deals with rental enquiries, co-ordinates maintenance issues and oversees the running of the office in a highly skilled manner.
With her attention to detail and her organisation skills, Marie contributes to high levels of productivity within Masseys.
Liz Jukes – Accounts Manager
Liz is the backbone of the office co-ordinating rental payments to landlords and contractors and managing the office finances. Liz joined Masseys in 2002 and has been an integral part of the company as we have moved from strength to strength.
